Limited Palettes

You don’t need a four-year art degree to make amazing art—but it helps that I have one. Along with earning a BFA in drawing and painting, I’ve spent years as both a student and teacher in classical art programs based on the same principles used by masters like Leonardo da Vinci and John Singer Sargent.
Unlike most colored pencil instructors—who are often self-taught and teach only what worked for them—I offer a time-tested, flexible approach. I tailor feedback to your goals, skill level, and personal style—never a one-size-fits-all formula.
With 18 years of experience teaching artists at all levels, I’ve developed a process that blends classical color training with curiosity and play. It’s structured yet exploratory—designed to help you build lasting skills, grow your confidence, and create artwork that feels truly your own.
